The Catalyst Coffee truck was launched in Albuquerque, NM in March of 2020. Michael Breden, owner and operator and a native of Albuquerque, launched his first mobile coffee truck business in Oakland, CA in January of 2006 and, after a successful 15 year run in the SF Bay Area, decided to dive into the burgeoning coffee scene here in Albuq

Michael Breden, owner and operator and a native of Albuquerque, launched his first mobile coffee truck business in Oakland, CA in January of 2006 and, after a successful 15 year run in the SF Bay Area, decided to dive into the burgeoning coffee scene here in Albuquerque. After a memorable 7 year stint in Albuquerque we have decided to relocate back to the SF Bay Area and will be opening up our shop here soon. Our mobile catering operations have already started and we are excited to work with you soon!

We are very excited to be home and to be a part of this proud community. We work with local vendors and artisans to provide our customers with the highest quality coffee and tea, while also supporting sustainable and ethical practices.

Our "sprinter" coffee truck is available for private bookings whether it be film production or commercial work, corporate and tech events, weddings, and much more. We can also be found at festivals like Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, Coachella, and Bottlerock. We will be reopening our brick and mortar in the winter of 2026…details and location coming soon!
